What to Expect?
We’ll start with basic knife skills and prep work, then our chef will lead the group through the recipes, keeping things fun, relaxed, and social throughout the class. The recipes are thoughtfully chosen to support meal-planning flexibility, allowing you to apply the skills you learn to a variety of dishes at home.
What skills will be Covered?
How to Read a Recipe - before you can make anything, you need to know how to read a recipe and time recipes. Mise en Place is a French culinary term meaning "everything in its place," referring to the essential practice of gathering, preparing, and organizing all ingredients and equipment (chopping vegetables, measuring spices, setting out tools) before you start cooking to ensure a smooth, efficient process and reduce errors. Knife Skills - how to properly hold a knife, along with chopping and dicing techniques. Cooking Skills - How to properly cook ground turkey and chicken thighs. How to make soup and chili. Making a pan sauce. Kitchen Equipment - knifes, gadgets, cookware, etc... Finally - We'll show you how to apply the skills you learned to a wide range of other recipes!
When will we Eat?
It takes time to make a great meal and in general it will take 2 to 2.5 hours for the food to be served.
Can we bring something to Drink?
Absolutely, our classes are BYOB!

What's your Cancellation Policy?
Cancellations must be made by calling us at 773-293-3190. Those who provide cancellation for a class one week (seven days) in advance will receive a full refund or store credit to apply the class cost to a future class. If you must cancel fewer than 7 days before the class, you will receive a store credit, less a $50 cancellation fee per ticket. This policy allows us to cover business operational costs and provide the best service possible for all customers.
