This is it, the end of Summer... sayonara, ciao, adios, au revoir, goodbye. Sad, but true, today is the autumnal equinox, when the sun is at zenith, or directly above, the equator the official end of summer in the Northern Hemisphere and the official end of grilling season... Well, we never stop grilling at The Spoon, but it does give us another reason to fire up the grill. Join us for an afternoon celebrating the summer of 2018. Don't forget to bring along some of your favorite friends and your favorite nomimono, bevanda, bebida, boisson, beverage!

What's on the Menu?   

  • Charred Bread with Ricotta and Cherry Salsa
  • Seasonal Tomato Tart
  • Grilled Skirt Steak with Asian Marinade
  • Grilled Crushed Yukon Gold Potatoes
  • Grilled Seasonal Fruit over Charred Pound Cake and Whipped Cream

What to Expect?   

The class begins with some prep work followed by our chef leading the group through the recipes while leaving a little room for some laughs and socializing along the way.  

What skills will be Covered?   

Grilling skills, working with Asian spices, making a salsa, making and shaping dough for a tart, making whipped cream, knife skills.

When will we Eat?   

It takes time to make a great meal and in general it will take 2 to 2.5 hours for the food to be served.   

Can we bring something to Drink?   

Absolutely, our classes are BYOB!

What's your Cancellation Policy?  

Cancellations must be made by calling us at 773-293-3190. Those who provide cancellation for a class one week (seven days) in advance will receive a full refund or store credit to apply the class cost to a future class. No refund or store credit can be given less than seven days in advance.
