The Wooden Spoon is always looking for talented, personable chefs to teach in our cooking school and educate and entertain private parties. 

Chef requirements....

• Creative, reliable, and organized;
• Skilled in the cooking and presentation of food;
• Effective communication skills;
• Interested in sharing expertise with and answering food and cooking questions for groups for food connoisseurs;
• Budgeting, planning and stock management skills;
• Knowledge of food prices and how compose varied and delicious menus.
• Up-to-date with new developments in food nutrition, food technology, cooking methods, as well as hygiene and hygiene regulations.
• Food license and experience in professional kitchens preferred.

We have part-time opportunities available for retail sales clerks with a passion for food.

Chef assistants...
Are you interested in taking part in cooking classed while getting paid? The Wooden Spoon has positions available for chef assistants, who would provide assistance to the Chefs during cooking classes and private parties. 

Responsibilities include food preparation, assistance with cooking demonstration, and clean up.
