How can I register for a cooking class, and what is your policy on large groups?
You can either sign-up on our website, by calling us at 773.293.3190, or stop by our shop at 5047 N. Clark Street. Payment is required at the time of registration. For groups of 6 or more we ask that you call the store to register. Large groups can adversely affect the class experience for other students, so a private event may be a better option. Our goal is to provide the best possible class experience for ALL class participants, so we reserve the right to deny large groups access to classes. If the class you are interested in is full, you can choose to be placed on our waiting list.
What is the difference between a 'Hands-On Class' and a 'Specialty Class"?
Hands-On: In this type of class students create the menu items, or follow the cooking skills, along with the chef.
Specialty: This type of class may be a market tour where the students go to a ethnic area of the city to learn how to buy ingredients then return to the store for a Hands-On class.
