Shop and cook Thai with our Southeast Asian expert, Chef Rebecca Wheeler. This two-part class begins with a guided tour of the Southeast 
Asian markets and bakeries in the Argyle area to demystify shopping in Asian markets. As we shop and taste we’ll discuss the various ingredients used in Thai and Vietnamese cooking as well as the culinary influences and practices of these two countries. Bring a few extra dollars if you are interested in purchasing items or if you want to treat yourself to a Vietnamese ice coffee. 

Learn about the flavors and basic cooking techniques of Thailand and Vietnam as we put the ingredients purchased during our market tour into action. We’ll cover the fundamental balance of flavors that is key to these two cuisines as we make a delicious meal together.
